Day 272: A Veil of Glamour

Day 272: A Veil of Glamour

“The glamour, the glamour…” – a parallel existence imagination key-phrase, from “The Heart of Lightness”, where ‘horror’ is exchanged for ‘glamour’, and dark for light. A quest, a voyage up a river, towards its source, for the starting-point that will eventually branch into stream and rivulet and tributary and accumulate and feed and nurture the disaster. From Heart of Darkness into Apocalypse Now, a new cycle in the spiralling of a repeated story, a shifted history, towards what, the End of the World, the documentary? What must happen for us to lay aside our addiction to the movie as more and more sensational experience, and choose instead an exploration of our physical reality?

Breathing as I Am within and by the placid nature of the physical in which I exist, I reconnect with my stability, and within that my awareness of my awareness Here. And I can look upon these questions from my direct connections to them, seeing the inner turmoil and the storm, the earthquakes devastations of my stability as my responsibility, my behest, my consent. “Going ‘to’ the movies”: the documentary, I see the facts of what I have accepted and allowed as an ersatz version of my own stability that I have paid for as a comfortable seat within the darkened auditorium, from which I can experience my own reactions to the acts of killing for example, which seem to have become an indispensable among the features of the current culture.

I was going to write something more on disaster-movies, see previous post, but looking at the point of the box-office success of stories of disaster, and death, the word ‘glamour’ came up; the glamorisation of examples of world physical realities. The word Hollywood is quite difficult to place in physical reality, it is like a glamour resource, it is like that mirror surrounded with lights in which the stars perfect their faces, it is a word that hyphened up with any other word brings forth an energetic simulation.

Some dictionary information on the word Origin and History for ‘glamour’:

1720, Scottish, “magic, enchantment” (especially in phrase to cast the glamor), a variant of Scottish gramarye “magic, enchantment, spell,” alteration of English grammar (q.v.) with a medieval sense of “any sort of scholarship, especially occult learning.” Popularized by the writings of Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832). Sense of “magical beauty, alluring charm” first recorded 1840.

Within this word ‘glamour’ I find that there is an interesting and relatively recent etymology: with references to ‘magic’ and ‘enchantment’, and the ‘spell’ of words, and to the allure of ‘beauty’ and ‘charm’. Also, to me the phrase “to cast the glamor” contains an awareness of possible deception or underhand persuasion or manipulation through the use of words.

The veils of physical perception consist of emphasis of meanings either more than or less than what is really here; the veil of glamour as a ‘physical reality’ object of perception extends a paranoid illusion in which we project emotional and feeling relationships on to the world and then start to see them there, we become allured into the glamour of our own internal experience.

Here are the instructions to the process of accessing our life-force, our beingness, our physical bodies and walking through the mind and consciousness.

EQAFE: ‘The Crucifixion of Jesus’, has been a great support to me because hear within these interviews, presented through the Portal, the actual teachings of Jesus, rather than the ones that were to be, after his death, tweaked and twisted into the four approved versions of his life as the Gospels. How the political message of Equality and the reality of Equality and Oneness were skewed into a religious mantra so as to suit the interests of the system.
